RATES & POLICIES
Rates (effective January 1, 2007):
DOGGIE DAY CARE: $20 per dog, per day
(you can do all three days or just one day...or even do every other week to better fit into your budget)
BOARDING: $25 PER NIGHT PER DOG
RESERVATIONS AS FAR IN ADVANCE AS POSSIBLE ARE REQUIRED. THERE IS A $10 SURCHARGE ON HOLIDAYS
GROOMING SERVICES ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE
$5.00 clip nails - $60 for 6 month clip club for daycare customers only
PLEASE NOTE: PROOF OF UP-TO-DATE VACCINATIONS, INCLUDING RABIES, DISTEMPER, PARVO AND KENNEL COUGH, MUST BE PRESENTED BEFORE DOGS ALLOWED ON PREMISES. THANK YOU.
ALL DOGS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ONE DAY CARE SESSION OR AN OVERNIGHT STAY TO BE EVALUATIED FOR GROUP SOCIAL SKILLS.
POLICIES:
DAYCARE & BOARDING POLICIES:
All dogs are required to attend one trial day care session or a trial overnight stay at regular prices to be evaluated for group social skills, obedience skills, housetraining and ability to be away from home.
Day care services are on Monday, Wednesday & Friday (rain or shine). Drop off time is between 7-9am. Please arrive no later than 9am (unless previously arranged) as it interferes with the structure of the day, business calls, etc. Pick ups start at 4pm and end at 6pm. Pick ups prior to 4:00pm must call ahead as all dogs are prepared to go home based on your pre-determined time. Pick ups after the 6:00pm must be pre-arranged and called ahead for approval. Pick ups after 6pm that are not called ahead will be charged $10 per half-hour. (this does not mean you can call at 5:59pm to say you are running late) If you are late and do not call ahead and I have an evening appointment, I will leave and you will need to reschedule your pick up and you will be charged a boarding fee on top of the daycare fee. If you are late three times in a row, you will be mandated to pick up no later than 6pm at all times.
Boarding customers will be given a one hour window for pick-ups and drop-offs. This schedule is to be prearranged before your vacation. You will not be allowed to call me the day of and tell me when you are coming; I must know in advance. If you are late without calling and I have plans to be somewhere, I will leave and you will be charged a boarding fee for that day and have to reschedule your pick-up or drop-off.
Random day care services are payable each day upon pick up of your dog. Regularly scheduled, recurring day care services are payable on the last day of service each week. If payment for the previous week is not received, services will be suspended.
Major Holiday boarding incurs an extra $10.00 per holiday night surcharge on top of regular boarding fee. Last minute, emergency boarding will incur a one time flat $20 surcharge.
For safety reasons, all medications and supplements must be in the original bottle/package with veterinarian or manufacturer instructions on the bottle. Owner must include written instructions with feeding schedule. Medications and supplements prepackaged with food or packaged in baggies will not be allowed and will not be administered.
Dog’s nails must be kept short. The dogs play very vigorously and I play along with them. Serious injuries and bruising can occur with long nails. If your dog arrives at day care or boarding with long nails, they’ll automatically be clipped and you will be charged the regular fee.
Dogs must be kept clean and odor free. Please be considerate of my home environment. You will be notified if your dog is in need of a bath. If not rectified by your next visit, services will be suspended.
ALL dogs must be housebroken. If it is determined, after any services begin, that your is not house trained and is having constant accidents, all future services will be suspended.
ALL dogs must have basic obedience. If it is determined. after any services begin, that your dog lacks basic obedience, future services will be suspended. Puppies are allowed a grace period while in training but if progress is not made, services could be suspended.
While most dogs here are spayed/neutered, it is NOT a pre-requisite to be eligible for day care or boarding. However, un-spayed females must provide date of last heat and must forgo services for 2-3 weeks while in season. Un-Neutered males may have their services suspended at any time if they behave aggressively. Dedicated To Dogs or any other dog owner are not responsible if you unwittingly bring your female to daycare or boarding while in season and she becomes impregnated.
GENERAL POLICIES APPLICABLE TO ALL:
Rates and policies are subject to change without notice. Payment for all services is accepted in cash or checks only payable to Amy Fletcher. (credit cards are not accepted)
Prior to any services, proof of ALL vaccinations must be provided (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo & Kennel Cough). Kennel Cough vaccines take several days to become effective so plan accordingly.
All customers must use flea and tick control products (collars, dips or drops) to avoid infestation. It is very likely that your dog will come in contact with fleas and ticks. If your dog is repeatedly found with fleas or ticks on them, all services will be suspended.
There is a $25 service charge on all returned checks and all future services must be paid in cash.
Please DO NOT allow your dog to relieve themselves until they are inside the back yard.
All dogs must be leashed at all times when arriving and leaving for ANY service.
Day care dogs take mandatory naps in a crate and boarding dogs are required to sleep in a crate at night therefore ALL dogs must be crate trained.
Other than daycare days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) please refrain from calling the house before 9am.
Please do not sit in your car on the phone when picking up or dropping off. Dogs can see and hear you in the driveway causing a frenzied state of barking dogs.
You must provide your leashes, food, medication, bowls, bedding, carriers and other appropriate supplies for boarding. “Dedicated To Dogs” must immediately be reimbursed by you for any costs incurred in this respect.
We reserve the right to seek emergency veterinary services for your pet while it is in our care. We will make every possible attempt to contact you; however, we may need to make a judgment call. You must immediately reimburse “Dedicated To Dogs” for any such costs incurred.
Certain risks are involved in having your dog attend doggie day care and boarding such as cuts & nicks, dog bites, strain, stress, contact with fleas and ticks, etc. Every attempt will be made to avoid but we are not responsible for any such costs arising from these risks.
Repeat offenders of any polices (human or canine) will have services suspended
YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A RELEASE WAIVER DETAILING THESE POLICIES PRIOR TO SERVICES BEGINNING.
